In this tour we discover and experience the diversity of New Mexico. The altitude and scenery are extremely varied.
Day 2: A climb
through the Ponderosa Pine forests of the Jemez Mountains
will take us to Los Alamos the birthplace of the atomic age.
En route we will cross the volcanic caldera of the Valle
Grande (40 miles). Day 3: After a ride
into Bandelier National Monument to visit the pre-Columbian
cliff-dwellings of the Anasazi, we will leave the mountains
for the Nambe Valley and 18th century Spanish village of
Chimayo. (52 miles) Day 5: This day
begins the Enchanted Circle. We will reach 9,100 ft. at Palo
Flechado Pass, drop down into the Moreno valley and fishing
haven of Eagle Nest, then climb again to 9,800 ft. before
descending steeply into the gold rush town of Red River. (47
miles) Day 6: Today we
complete the Enchanted Circle, returning to Taos with a stop
at the breathtaking Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. There will be
plenty of time for shopping, exploring and dining
Southwestern style in Taos. (48 miles) Day 7: After relaxing and having refreshments or lunch on
the riverside patio of the Embudo Station Restaurant, the tour route
continues through an area rich with Indian petroglyphs. The last stop will
be a visit to San Juan Pueblo, north of Santa Fe. Transportation will be
provided to Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Tour Reservations: For a tour reservation, please fill out a Tour Application (pdf) or contact us for more information.
Day 1: We begin the tour with trip orientation in the

allows riders to adjust to the altitude, visit the Jemez
Indian Pueblo and enjoy the spectacular red rock San Diego
Canyon. Afterward, a visit to the natural hot springs bath
house and a massage is highly recommended. (48
miles)
Day 4: One of the most challenging days of our tour
