These spectacularly beautiful islands seem to be suspended in an a magical sea of light. Picturesque fishing villages with their colorful fishermen's shanties, called rorbu, dot the coastline. We will be staying in these traditional rorbu perched above the sea. Meals will provide a variety of fresh fish and seafood throughout our travels. Bicycling in the Land of the Midnight Sun is bicycling at its best. Our route is over gently rolling terrain on lightly traveled paved roads. Each day can leisurely be bicycled with plenty of time to explore the many inlets, shops in the villages, stroll along the beaches and shores, or a plunge into the Gulf Stream-tempered-waters.
